Add an MC Profile
Your first MC profile is created for you from your company name, MC and DOT numbers the first time you open MC Numbers.
- Go to Settings and open MC Numbers. (page: /settings/mc-profiles)
- Click Add MC Profile. (page: /settings/mc-profiles)
- Enter the Legal Name (required), plus Operating As (DBA), MC #, USDOT, address, phone and email. Tick Set as Default MC if this should be the default. (page: /settings/mc-profiles)
- Click Save. To add a logo, open the MC again with Edit and click Upload under MC Logo. (page: /settings/mc-profiles)
Switch Between MCs
Once you have more than one MC, a switcher with the active MC’s name appears at the top right of every page. Pick another MC and confirm with Switch MC.
While you’re working under an MC that isn’t your default, a banner reads Operating under: with that MC’s name. Click Switch back to primary to return.
What’s Per-MC and What’s Shared
Per-MC: loads, drivers, trucks, trailers, customers, fleet owners, invoices, settlements, maintenance records, and fuel and toll transactions each belong to one MC. Lists show only the active MC’s records, and a record from another MC can’t be opened from here. New records go to the active MC, and documents follow the record they’re attached to.
A load can only use a customer, driver, truck and trailer from its own MC.
Shared across the company: logins and users, the subscription, and admin users.
Branding and Billing
Invoices, rate confirmations, settlement PDFs and carrier packets use the name, address, MC and DOT numbers and logo of the load’s or settlement’s MC. Any field you leave blank on the MC uses your company profile instead.
The Subscription page shows each additional MC at 50% of your plan’s monthly price, with your first MC included.
